This is great! My wife and I recently switched from Palm Treos and she has been after me to find Sudoku for her. Looks like this will be perfect! Thanks.

Fantastic App!! Very simple and straight forward to use. I really like the Selection offset option. Gets your finger out of the way. Size of the squares is perfect. Undo by swiping right to left. Game saves on exit. Works great in either landscape or portrait. I can’t think of anything functionally that you have left out.
Sudoku done right.. Also FYI for some reason on Handango this product is listed as NOT compatible with storm.. Oops?!
Finally a Sudoku game for my Storm. Only thing is that the grid doesnt seem to line up with where I am clicking, have to offset it a bit

Hi. As a Sudoku addict and a new BB Storm owner I was glad I found this app. I downloaded the trial version, but was only able to test one level. Once it was completed, it would not load the next level game. Is this the “lock” in the trial version or is there something wrong with the install on my BB? I don’t want to purchase based on one level, or if there is an issue with my bb.

No, the trial version should allow you to play three games at each difficulty level and one at the “insane” level. You should be able to use the menu button and select “New” to start a new level.

Hey I had the same problem as Marsha. When finished with the first level it just shows the completed puzzled and when I click on new it doesn’t do anything….Is there something to it?
Hi Matthew, unfortunately it’s an issue as we’ve discussed. But the good news is, the released v1.1.1 should fix the problems that unregistered users are having. Thanks for letting me know about it!
I have a registered version (latest) on my Storm. I love your game. The trouble Ii am having is that it doesn’t delete completed puzzles but reloads them. Also, I don’t have any option that allows me to enter my own puzzle. I looked through all of the options but don’t see how to just advance to the next puzzle level I choose or to add my own.
Hi Rebecca! Unfortunately we don’t have an “enter your own puzzle” option yet. It will be in the next update!
As for the problem with reloading old puzzles, it sounds like you may need to delete and re-install the app. After doing that enter in your registration code. After this it should give you freshly-generated puzzles. Let me know by email (admin@appshed.com) if this doesn’t fix things for you.
I downloaded the trial application for my Storm on to my computer, but I’m not sure how to load it onto my phone. Any suggestions?
You can use the desktop manager to install the application. But the easiest way to install on the storm is to send yourself this link:

If you visit this location on your Storm it will automatically download and install the latest Thumdoku version.

I love the way the puzzle is set up and I love the way I have a “check” feature. Don’t know if it can be added but I love this -

In Thumdoku, there’s a “Verify” feature which does a check of the entries you’ve made so far. To use it, just hit the BlackBerry menu button twice (once to open, and once to select the default item, “Verify”). It will tell you if everything looks good, or offer to “undo” until you’re back to a good puzzle state.
After I emailed you I found the Verify feature. I have been playing the sample and love your Thumduko. I have been trying for 2 days to register and each time I click on “Register at MobiHand” I get a message that there is “an error with the processing. Please try again.” Is there a way I can register and get the code without going through MobiHand?

Sorry about problems you’re seeing at MobiHand. Possible solutions:
1) Try cleaning out your browsers cookies
2) Try a different browser (Firefox instead of IE or vice versa)
3) Buy at Handango instead
I was trying to access Mobihand from my Blackberry Storm. I found Handango using my laptop. When I purchase at Handango do I need to download it again? or will they give me a code?
MobiHand may have changed the URL so the “Register” button may not be working. I’ll look into it. If you browse to http://www.mobihand.com manually, either with your laptop or your Storm, you can purchase the software that way. The activation code will work just the same.
