Thumdoku 1.1.1 released

This update is basically a patch for 1.1. That version had some problems that could affect unregistered users — basically, the unregistered version would only let people try a single “easy” puzzle, and that’s it. Can’t have that! Click the link below to get to version 1.1.1.

Thumdoku 1.1 Released

Thumdoku has a new feature: saved games! In the past, your current game was always saved. But now, registered users can leave the current game, play another one, and easily come back to the earlier games you’ve started but haven’t finished.

In addition, earlier versions did not allow you to set the selection offset to “none”. This version allows you more precise control over the offset between your thumb and the selected cell.

Thumdoku 1.0.2.15 Released

This version fixes a problem with high-score boards. If you managed to fill up all five slots, the game will not exit properly. It also allows you to pick 5 seconds, 15 seconds, or 30 seconds when using the auto-verify feature.

Welcome to AppShed! Today we introduce the world’s first sudoku puzzle game for the Blackberry Storm: Thumdoku!

If you’re new to Sudoku, don’t be intimidated by all the numbers. There’s no math involved–sudoku is a logic puzzle. By applying a few rules and some simple techniques, you’ll be solving your first easy puzzles in no time. When you put that last number in place you’ll be hooked! As you play, you’ll find new strategies and learn to take on harder puzzles.

Why Thumdoku?

I started playing Sudoku back in 2005 and never really stopped! So when I purchased my first Blackberry Storm smartphone, I was disappointed to find there were no sudoku games designed for it innovative click-screen. Naturally, I set out to write one!

The result is a user interface that’s fun to use, and always does what you want. In fact, you can solve entire puzzles using only your thumb. Sudoku is a logic puzzle, and Thumdoku takes all the hassle away so you can spend time playing instead of cursing the interface.
