Multi School Admin users

The Edu Academy dashboard is primarily designed to focus on one school at a time. Admin users can manage their school once they have logged in using the School Code.

As it stands, EDU user access on AppShed goes:

  1. Admin
  2. Teacher
  3. Student

However, some Admin users may belong to a group of schools or be from a single representative organisation that helps to manage multiple schools.

In this article, we discuss the Multi-School Admin level.

As the title implies, these users need to have Admin access to more than one school. Labelled as Instructor in the school’s user list, this user has top-level access to the school.

Along with adding users, and general management of an EDU school, MSA users have the ability to perform bulk school migrations (using the CSV upload) for when user accounts need to be transferred from one school to another that they oversee.

Manual migration is still possible for single user migration or smaller numbers. Refer to FAQ in the Help Centre.

To get an existing Admin assigned the MSA user level, a request needs to be sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. For new group accounts, a default user will be created with access to the entire school catalogue.
